Code Red will be distributed by BCI/Navarre

We have a new distributor now, and it is Navarre.

"BCI/Navarre is pleased to add Code Red to its line-up of exclusively distributed DVD labels. They have created some of the best cult titles over the last year; all of these will be re-released, along with over 20 new titles coming in the next year". - Cliff Macmillan, Director of Acquisitions

We will first release SOLE SURVIVOR in April, followed by BOARDINGHOUSE, THE DEAD PIT in May, and other titles such as THE UNSEEN, CAN I DO IT TILL I NEED GLASSES, BEYOND THE DOOR, BUTCHER BAKER NIGHTMARE MAKER, THE VISITOR, THE MUTILATOR, THE NESTING, NIGHTMARE, SPASMS, TERROR CIRCUS, RUNNING HOT, CAGED MEN, and many others to follow, including some drive-in "double features" of all new products. Keep checking our web site for more details, including our new website, launching next week!

Navarre/BCI is much better than Media Blasters. Looking forward to all those new releases!

Who cares, they suck no matter what. Hey BCI, how does it feel to suck now that Code Red is with you guys? Hurts, doesn't it?

'Anonymous' works for Media Blasters I bet.

What about an UNCUT deluxe edition of PIECES ?

To pinkfit:

Grindhouse Releasing is distributing a deluxe dvd of Pieces, totally uncut and restored.

And like NIGHTMARE, Grindhouse never publishes updates on their release of PIECES. But where are the bitchy children complaining about that company? (crickets)

equalopportunity:

I hear ya...

Synapse, Barrel, Unearthed and Grindhouse are all labels that give scant updates. If anything, Code Red gives a bit TOO MUCH info. I think these folks get excited about their new titles, and they just have to tell everyone about it.

I think this is the nature of the internet blog: having a more direct relationship with certain companies (even if that directness is more perceived than actual) seems to enhance the sense of entitlement that has infected a certain portion of the online community.

It amazes me how much aggravation some people feel and then try to create just because they don't have an update about their pet DVD release 3 times a day.

I'm glad someone is talking sense on these Code Red blog pages. Yes, It's frustrating when there's all this delay and 'carrot-dangling' but it must be extremely difficult for small operations to satiate the desires of horror fans. I think Code Red is doing a really great job. Their previous releases (such as Don't Go in the Woods...Alone!) have been well worth the wait, so I will continue to stand by them. As they say, patience is a virtue.
