Producer L.Q. JONES and director of photography JOHN MORRILL record an audio commentary for THE WITCHMAKER!
We were pleased to have cult actor/director L.Q. JONES (A BOY & HIS DOG) and director of photography JOHN MORRILL (THE BROTHERHOOD OF SATAN) participate in an exclusive audio commentary track for THE WITCHMAKER . This commentary track will be on the upcoming DVD release from CODE RED that will be out on 07/05. L.Q. and John talked about how the film was made, including many stories about the director, and some behind the scenes and production problems that were encountered on the film. We invite all cult movie fans to listen along when THE WITCHMAKER has its first-time authorized release!

big deal! 2 old geezer with headphone. Can't wait to buy the legit release from retromedia.
Nice! Am digging LQ's A BOY & HIS DOG t-shirt.
lol at Anony 9:04 PM.
What is this, 2008? You are so lame now. Try something new!
Awesome news about The Witchmaker.
Can't wait to have this one in my hand (like everything else I get because of you). Just don't give any importance to anonymous posting (just the usual childish troll), even more when he doesn't have a clue and ignore who is L.Q. Jones.
Those who sign their posts with their real names know how much works you put on your releases and appreciate it.
Annoy 9:04's statement is really mind boggling.
First, why is he insulting the people that worked on the film, which is a little over 40 years old. And if he is going to buy a release of this film, wouldn't he want the one that is approved by key members of the crew? Mainly L.Q. Jones?
If your gonna spend money on the movie why not buy the one that is made with the most care and respect for the material?
All I can add is that I look forward to this release and whatever L.Q. has to say, he has had an amazing career. I mean from his days with Sam Peckinpah to directing the wonderful, "A Boy and His Dog."
Well said, Jimmy. I'm so sick of reading these comments from these clueless "anonymous" losers. I can't wait for all of the upcoming releases!
I'd rather see Morella than two old guys with smiley on the chest. Morella rocks
Bill, any chance you can get your hands on Frank Dobbs' excellent Enter the Devil (1972)? Had a nice VHS copy from the usual suspects back in the early 90's, but this has never made it to DVD (other than some crappy bootleg stuff from other usual suspects, not worth anyone's time or money).
what is interesting is who will get what copy of the Witchmaker...Im not sure how both Code Red and Retromedia actually can both release it ( naive here sorry)
I wonder if Anon at 904 is Fred Olen Ray himself :)
Anyone making disparaging remarks against Mr. Morrill or L.Q. Jones is not fit to drink the bathwater of those two men. To quote Jason Robards character in Boy and His Dog..."to the FARM."
Unrelated, I have Something Weird's DVD-R of ENTER the DEVIL and it looks OK. Battered print, but that's fine. Not such a great movie.
