DAVID DURSTON HAS PASSED AWAY‏

We are sad to hear that David has passed away at age 89. He was one of the nicest and friendliest people we have ever worked with. David recently contributed so much of his free time to help us with the extras for STIGMA and he was honored to be a part of it. He was still quite alert and in good health, so his passing such a short time later is very sad. Rest in Peace, David, we all love you.

I love I Drink Your Blood, but have never even heard of Stigma. Anyone seen it? Too bad about Durston. Sounds like he was cool.

what about Butcher Baker Nightmare Maker?????
Is it coming or not? ...just level with us. If it's not, then FINE, I won't bother with this site again. It would just be good to know.

Such a shame to hear about David Durston, but I am grateful that you scored an interview and commentary with him on your Stigma DVD.

And on that note, anyone on this blog should be picking up Stigma. It is one of the best and most entertaining films Code Red has released, not to mention it comes with a really beautiful transfer! Lots of great comedic moments in a seriously '70s breakout film. And while I never cared for Philip Michael Thomas before, he was brilliant in this little film.

Just finished watching Stigma and I thought it was great. The extras were superb and I want to give Code Red a million thanks for getting David Durston (RIP) to do an interview and commentary. Don't let the haters bring this company down, Code Red is one of my favorite cult labels, keep truckin!

I enjoyed STIGMA thoroughly, and was perplexed with Durston's comments on homosexuality as he directed the gay porn BOYNAPPED with my personal hero and role model Wade Nichols. One other thing -- don't shoot yourself in the foot! Don't list the trailer for your other releases as "Movies you probably won't buy" in the extras! You have a lot of fun and worthwhile movies that nobody else offers.
