DEVIL'S EXPRESS negatives found!

After four long years of searching, we were convinced we would never find it, but we have just located the original negatives of the blaxploitation, kung fu, gangploitation, subway monster hybrid DEVIL'S EXPRESS! The lab just inspected them and they have confirmed that indeed these are the original negatives, along with the trailer elements. We are getting ready to do a HiDef master and will be working on the extras soon. Hopefully we can have this out in September 2009!

Great news, I'll be looking forward to this one! I really enjoy reading about the efforts you guys go through to produce Code Red DVDs. Great industry insight, and really shows the level of dedication you guys have for these weird/cult films.

I recently enjoyed SWEET SIXTEEN and the new BEYOND THE DOOR release. Love 'em both.

OMG The Beyond The Door DVD looks AMAAAAAZING. After putting up with a really poor VHS rip all these years, I honestly thought the film was going to fall into obscurity. But Code Red managed to make the film look nearly brand spankin' new. The colours are so vibrant.

Thank you, Code Red, for preserving these films. I just know you're going to do an incredible job with the Nightmare DVD (which I'm foaming at the mouth to get my hands on lol)

It's funny how people bitch about these transfers. Maybe they should go suck some guys off for some money and put these movies out themselves... maybe they can do a better job? Of course they can!
