PETS DVD will hit the streets on 10/13!

Code Red and Mardi Rustam presents PETS! Sultry teen vixen Bonnie (cult beauty Candice Rialson) had no idea what was in store for her when she ditched her brother and took to the road, looking for cheap thrills wherever she could find them. Violent petty criminal Pat drags her into a kinky hold-up and lesbian artist Geraldine takes Bonnie under her wing as her personal muse, but the young runaway continues to crave adventure, leading her down a twisted path to a psychosexual encounter with Vincent, a collector of beautiful objects who wants to add her to his permanent collection... Co-starring Joan Blackman (MACON COUNTY LINE) and Ed Bishop ("UFO") in his wildest screen role, you've never seen anything like Pets! Play with them, fondle them, but beware...Pets bite!

One of the most outrageous and enjoyable films starring 70s drive-in icon Candice Rialson, Pets finally makes its long-awaited DVD debut with a new 16x9 transfer from ultra-rare print elements! This DVD is limited to 1500 copies. Enter the cage if you dare! MSRP 19.98

Be sure to send a screener to NOW. They are no doubt eagerly awaiting a copy.

I agree with the OP, Code Red are on an amazing roll wth movies at the moment, Trapped and Weekend Murders just hit and will be followed by Strangeness, Stunt Rock, Choke Canyon, Dribbler AND Messiah and I am getting most of those. So what if there was a change of street date on several of the above - means we still have some great titles to look forward to. Thanks Codered :)

LOL, chris, I love your humor. Pretending to hate Code Red by saying their titles that have been requested by many as crappy, and pretending that they are doing a bad job when really they are working on titles more productively than nearly every other label. I love ya! You're awesome. And I'm sure you agree with me that Weekend Murders, Strangeness and Messiah will be fantastic releases. Thanks for your support chris. :)

Currently no company has the quality releases coming down the pipe more so than code red. Not Severin,Blue Underground ,Synapse etc. All amazing labels, but you still can't argue.

I love all the release thus far but where the heck is NIGHTMARE already i've heard it will be getting 2 releases one being bare bones coming this year and the other being fully loaded next year what's up with that release

Ummm.....have you seen MYA COMMUNICATIONS list of prospective titles??!! These will put everyone to shame if they transpire, so far they are off to a decent start, no worse than C.R. for certain.

Love this news!! Just pre-ordered STUNT ROCK.

Three words about PETS:
Oh. Hell. Yeah.

Keep em' coming, CODE RED!!!

Nice! The way the economy is and lack of space have kept me from supporting more of your releases than I'd of liked to (only have 2), but I'll get right behind this one, with a pre-order even. Cover looks great, too. Just keep the cinema cheese heads away from it. Please.

I like the cinema cheese commentarys but Im not above dick and fart jokes;). As for pets this maybe one of my most anticipated releases .

i love code red too but the wait for ANY news on Butcher baker Nightmare Maker aka Night Warning is getting ridiculous. I don't understand why it's so hard just to give us an update?

Code Red! How do I get in touch with you about press related questions?

Anthony D. said...

You know, my uncle loves the movie Night Warning (A.K.A. Butcher, Baker, Nightmare Maker) and I would love to know if that's still on for a release (maybe in 2010). Thanks, Code Red! :)

Still no word about Brett Piper's "They Bite". C'mon guys. When???

Looking forward to the dvd but I have a question:

Any extras?

Since it's a limited edition, I was hoping for more than just the trailer...

I have the dvd and the print used is pretty beat up. Over a minute missing and dozens of spices that wipe dialog. There is a trailer and 2 damaged scenes presented as an extra.
Better than nothing but a disappointing release all around.

what the hell happened to the
Candice Rialson tribute that
was supposed to be featured
on the Pet's DVD release?
Code Red had been touting that
interviews had been conducted
for the tribute, then without
a word of explaination release
the DVD without the tribute.
CODE RED IS A RIP-OFF!

Where is the Candice Rialson
biography?

Anonymous said...

No Candice Rialson tribute on
the DVD that was promised for
years! What happened CR?

Has anyone seen this to confirm whether or not the nudity and other naughty bits have been excised from this dvd release? I've read other reviews that the VHS has more nudity and other bits that this release cut out. Please confirm...
